The Guild – Thanks to the generosity of Felicia Day, the Geek and Sundry* team, and Happy Harbor Comics, we will be hosting an all day (seasons 1-5) “The Guild” screening event on September 29, 2012.
This screening is a Can’t Stop the Serenity (CSTS) affiliate event. Happy Harbor Comics (10729-104 Ave) has generously donated space for the screening. Proceeds will be split between our charity partners Equality Now and YESS.org.
Admission is by cashy money donation. Throw a few loonies or twoonies (or more!) into the donation bin when you stop by to watch the screening. In addition, we will have a few silent auction items and door prizes on hand for those in attendance.
* Geek & Sundry is the new home of “The Guild” and other fab content such as “Flog” (Felicia’s video blog), “Tabletop” (Wil Wheaton’s tabletop gaming show) and “Sword & Laser” (a Scifi/Fantasy book club).
Let’s take this fundraiser to the next level! YESS is in urgent needs for a number of items for their shelter. As well as collecting cashy monies on Sept 29th, we’ll be collecting “in kind” donations.
